The renovation became a wonderful journey for us — and very much a family adventure. Together with our interior architects, our builder and his wonderful team, we spent many months thinking about every detail: how the light would move through the house, how the rooms would connect with the garden, where you would sit for a morning coffee, where everyone would gather for a long lunch, and where you might disappear with a book in the afternoon.

We kept the beautiful bones and character of the original house, while introducing contemporary comfort, natural materials, beautiful bathrooms, generous bedrooms, warm floors, considered lighting and spaces designed for relaxed coastal living.

And then there was the garden.

We wanted it to remain part of the story — not simply something you look at, but somewhere you live. Bare feet, afternoon sunshine, a game of pétanque, a lazy afternoon on the daybed, a BBQ that turns into a long dinner, and finally a fire under the stars.

That is what we hope Yaraana will be for you.

A place to slow down.

A place where mornings don't need a plan and evenings don't need an ending.

A place for children to run around, friends to linger over dinner, couples to find a quiet corner, and families to simply enjoy being together.

Pearl Beach has a wonderful way of making time feel a little different. We hope Yaraana does too.
